Film Schedule

Creating a film schedule is very important as it allows us to break down our filming into sections so that we can organise when and where we film each shot in our music video. So, as well as organising the time and date of the filming, it also allows us to know who has to be at each shots filming and exactly what the actors/artist have to wear. By planning all of this it will make our music videos filming much easier and more organised as we will know when we have completed each section of filming, so we won't be able to accidentally miss a section of film.
Making this film schedule also brought our storyboard to life as previously we had only drawn out some images relating to each shot and explained what is going to happen in each shot, but this schedule has allowed us to plan each shot in more detail by included things such as location, costume, personnel, equipment and more.

When we actually start filming, small changes may be made to this film schedule, as problems may arise, such as an illness forcing someone to be unable to film, also due to the changing whether we may have to plan change which days we film each shot on to enable us to keep the continuity in the music video. for example, if we film a shot of the artist one day in the sunshine, and then do another shot of him a different day in snow, the video won't look continuous and will appear unprofessional and unorganised.

Creating this film schedule was very useful when filming our music video as it kept us organised and allowed us to know exactly what shots we needed to film. We did make some changes to this, as on some of the shots we decided that a different frame and camera angle would look better in our musi cvideo, and we also filmed some extra shots to what we had planned to as we decided that to make our music video more entertaining for our target audinece, for example we added some extra shots of the drunk girl in the bedroom compared to what we had planned to as we wanted to use different camera angles and shots to express even further how messed up she was.
