Our artist will keep the same outfit on throughout the performance based section of our music video. His outfit will be simple with just jeans, a plain designer t-shirt, trainers and a baseball styled jacket. Most male dance artists usually just wear simple outfits as they don't like to show off their wealth like some R'n'B artists do. But our artist may also wear some geek glasses as these are now seen as fashionable and will show that although our artist doesn't like to show off he does like to keep up with the fashion trends.

By having our artist dressed casually it may make it easier for the audience to try and build a relationship with the arist as he will appear more normal and like an average teenager in clothes that may be similar to what the audience wears.
The baseball jacket that our artist will wear is important aswell, as it has a large 'M' printed on it which linkes to his name, Mike, so this could be his trademark jacket that the audience will expect to see him in.
When the music video is not on the performance based shots there will be many different teenagers in the scenes and they will all also be wearing casual clothes. The teenage girls will be wearing clothes such as legging/jeans, a loose t-short, trainers like converse with wavy hair and natural make up. By having the other teenagers in the music video dressed in casual clothes could intrigue the audeience as it may relate to what they wear and it may also help them build a relationship with the artist even further if they know that his friends wear similar clothes to them.
You have made a start in explaining the different costumes that you wish to include within your music video. To show further planning techniques you need to consider your music video in further detail and how the costumes will benefit your production. Consider the lyrics of your song too
